Client Manager (or experienced Client Executive) - General Insurance

We are looking for a Client Manager or an experienced Client Executive to join our General Insurance team.

Main objectives

• Management of a portfolio of clients

• Gather underwriting information and understand risk profile and foresee clients’ insurance needs

• Organise and attend renewal and new business meetings and understand the specific insurance requirements for the clients  

• Building and maintaining positive ongoing relationships with clients and underwriters

• Advising clients on significant risks recommended areas of improvement and manage to a satisfactory conclusion

• Marketing and New Business Development activities in order to develop the client portfolio

• Provide a high level of customer service and advice to all clients across the portfolio

• Staying abreast of changes within the insurance market and clients’ industry sectors (ensure Google alerts in place for clients > $10K earn)

Education& Qualification

• Tier 1 Compliance

• A University degree or equivalent education is highly regarded

Knowledge & Experience

• At least 5+ years professional experience

• A very strong understanding of Insurance Broking

• The ability to build and develop relationships and liaise with clients at all levels

• An understanding of client confidentiality  

• The ability to work well in a team environment

• Strong account management, analytical and organizational skills

• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated with personal drive and ambition

• Administrative and IT skills, Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
