At GSA we care about our community and supporting those less fortunate than us. We care about using our talents to make a difference to our community.

A children’s mental health charity, KidsXpress helps to transform the lives of children impacted by trauma and adversity. Established in 2005, KidsXpress sought to address the lack of services available to support children who were living with the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Their Australian-first Expressive Therapy program combines the creative modalities of art, music, play and drama therapy to promote emotional growth and healing, while their leading trauma-focused education services help build the capacity of teachers and other child-welfare professionals to better recognise and respond to trauma-impacted children. KidsXpress is today considered a leader in early-intervention mental health services for the holistic way they address the insidious and cumulative effects of toxic stress before they become entrenched problems in adulthood.

GSA formed an important part in establishing KidsXpress.  CEO Paul Hines, along with the staff, continues to provide significant support to this Charity through monetary contributions, allocation of staff resources and support of fund raising initiatives.

Want to do more than just a simple donation yourself? Consider Workplace Giving For Your Company

GSA has established a Workplace Giving program. This is a simple and effective way for our staff to regularly donate through automated payroll deductions. Workplace giving is a voluntary program that (under a pre-tax system) results in an automatic tax reduction, without the need to keep receipts. GSA staff pledge a nominated amount, which is deducted on payday and sent onto KidsXpress.

GSA staff's regular financial contributions make this program a reality for children in need.

Currently around 70% of our staff contribute to KidsXpress.
